Collective music that is born of the sonorous experimentation between the legendary accordionist, singer and composer Panamanian Osvaldo Ayala next to the musical producer Billy Herron.

 

The group includes drummer and percussionist Edgardo "Yayo" Serka (Chile) and guitarist and composer Jean-Christophe Maillard (Guadaloupe).

 

The TRANSISTMICO PROJECT's artistic proposal merges musical landscapes from different regions of the world, transits through the Isthmus of Panama and using acoustic and electronic elements creates an interesting combination of rhythms and styles that illustrate their songs in a modern and alternative way.

Colectivo musical que nace de la experimentación sonora entre el legendario acordeonista, cantante y compositor panameño Osvaldo Ayala junto al productor musical Billy Herron. Del colectivo participan el baterista y percusionista Edgardo "Yayo" Serka (Chile) y el guitarrista y compositor Jean-Christophe Maillard (Guadaloupe).

La propuesta artística del TRANSISTMICO PROJECT fusiona paisajes musicales de diferentes regiones del mundo, transita a través del Istmo de Panamá y utilizando elementos acústicos y electrónicos crea una interesante combinación de ritmos y estilos que ilustran sus canciones de una manera moderna y alternativa.
