Synopsis

Part of the outreach for the research on the biodiversity of Escudo de Veraguas-Degó Island, in the Panamanian Caribbean, north of the Ngäbe-Buglé comarca.

The island is home to species that exist nowhere else, and the research was carried out with the people who live around it. The film opens with its title in Spanish and in Ngäbere, because that is who it is speaking to first.
