Cine Animal, an independent production company in Panama City, founded in 2014. Three anniversary films so far: 25 years of Canopy Family (22 minutes, premiered at Global Birdfair in July 2025), 15 years of Fundación Espacio Creativo (7:32, 2026) and 50 years of Tropical Services (9:33, 2021). The three we have made run 7:32, 9:33 and 22 minutes. The length comes from how much archive survived and how many people are left to tell it, not from a format. The cuts for the event and for social media are edited afterwards, from the same material.Las tres de la casa miden 7:32, 9:33 y 22 minutos. Almost none of them kept it properly. What turns up is loose photographs in boxes, tapes nobody can read any more, a negative at someone's house. That gets digitized, restored and catalogued before the edit. Earlier than it looks. The Canopy Family film was shot in 2024 and premiered at Global Birdfair in July 2025. The shoot is the short part.
